Sunflower School of Advanced Massage & Bodywork was created around a simple idea: learning should feel personal.
We believe students deserve more than a checklist of techniques and requirements. They deserve an education that helps them understand their craft, trust themselves, connect with others, and build a career that feels sustainable long after graduation.
That means smaller classes, thoughtful instruction, real relationships, and an education designed around the whole person—not just the license they’re working toward.
WHY WE'RE HERE
We believed massage education could go deeper.
There are programs that can teach you what you need to know to become licensed. We wanted to build one that also prepares you for what comes after.
Sunflower School was created from years of seeing talented massage therapists enter the profession without enough preparation for the parts of the work that can be harder to learn from a textbook—working with people, protecting your energy, communicating with confidence, navigating business, and building a career that can actually last.
We saw an opportunity to create that kind of education here in San Antonio—and decided to build it.
Personal attention isn’t an extra.
It’s part of the education.
Our founding class will be intentionally small so there is room for real instruction, meaningful feedback, and genuine connection.
We’re not interested in moving the greatest number of students through the program as quickly as possible. We want students to feel known, supported, and challenged—and to leave with an education they can carry into the profession with confidence.

Rachel Wolff
Built from nearly two decades in the profession
Sunflower School of Advanced Massage & Bodywork was founded by Rachel after nearly twenty years working in massage therapy, building practices, mentoring professionals, and seeing firsthand what helps therapists thrive—and what too often gets learned the hard way.
Her experience shaped the vision for Sunflower School: an education that combines strong technical preparation with the communication, boundaries, confidence, and real-world understanding needed to build a lasting career.
